Eliminates lifting of 80 – 110 pound 4” and 5” large diameter hose rolls (LDH) during fireground hose retrieval operations. Approximately 50 % of firefighter injury retirements are from back injuries.
SPEEDS UP RELOADING LDH HOSEBEDS
Allows smooth uncoiling of LDH as it is fed onto the hose bed, thus speeding up the reloading operation by eliminating the awkward and cumbersome reloading methods currently in practice.

REDUCES NUMBER OF FIRE FIGHTERS NEEDED TO RELOAD LDH ONTO HOSE BED.
The LDH Lazy Susan feature of HOZE DOLLY allows only three firefighters to easily reload Large Diameter Hose onto the hose bed by smoothly uncoiling the LDH roll at the pace determined by the firefighters loading the bed. With some practice it can be done with only two firefighters but of course is slower.
ELIMINATES ANY NEED TO RIDE ON A MOVING FIRE TRUCK DURING LDH RELOADING.
