RETRIEVE IT

Roll the LDH, leaving each roll, standing on edge along the water supply route. Using the pair of prongs on the front of Hoze Dolly, straddle each roll and tip backward, as you would a hand truck, lifting the roll off the ground. Push or pull the loaded Hoze Dolly, back to the engine or other desired location.

UNCOIL IT

Once back at the engine or truck, recline the loaded Hoze Dolly onto the ground in a horizontal position, approximately 10 -15 feet from the hose bed. Pulling the coupling between the prongs causes the LDH roll to uncoil as the roll rotates on Hoze Dolly’s “Lazy Susan”. As it uncoils feed the LDH up to the firefighters on the hose bed for repacking while another Hoze Dolly is retrieving the next roll.

Hoze Dolly collapses into a compact unit for stowing on the apparatus, making it readily available where and when it is needed even if it is only one length of LDH on the ground. It only takes lifting one LDH roll to cause a back injury. With collapsed dimensions of 40.5″ X 15.5″ X 8.5″ Hoze Dolly fits in most apparatus compartments eliminating any need to retrieve it from the station

HOZE DOLLY is affordable enough to carry on multiple rigs in your department
